Rift Valley Wilderness
A journey through western Tanzania's wild frontier: Gombe National Park, home to Jane Goodall's famous chimpanzees along Lake Tanganyika's forested shores; Katavi, one of Africa's least-visited reserves, where dry-season pools teem with hippos and vast herds roam free; and Lake Tanganyika itself, the world's longest freshwater lake, remote and untouched.
